The Department of Education has released preliminary ED 279s showing state aid for districts in 2020-21. Linked below is a spreadsheet showing the preliminary distribution for all districts. There has been an increase in aid that allows a lowering of the required local mil rate to 8.18. Minimum receivers will see an increase in subsidy reflecting 50 percent of their minimum special education allocation. Distribution of state aid is affected by property values and student population. Property values statewide have gone up 3 percent and student enrollment is essentially flat, although those two factors differ by district. Click below to see the statewide spreadsheet. |
